I had a realization today as I was reflecting on my father’s terminal illness and my role as a caregiver. I asked Source to help me identify what I feel I am losing. I was so surprised by the answer.

Sometimes, we take on a role, whether that’s as a caregiver, provider, or other caring role because we choose to. Sometimes we find ourselves in this role by no choice of our own. Either way, it can become our identify - I give and I take care of others.
