Ep. 5: Taking a Chance on You, Financially.
A 15 minute and 18 second listen
Find your way through this audio that I recorded in nature (and partly in my car) and discover how the things you notice happening around you are actually reflecting the thoughts you have about yourself. Today, we explore a near-accident that I witnessed and how that led me to recognize the belief that spending money is a life-threatening risk that I must to avoid in order to stay safe. Walk away with a simple practice to start decoding the messages from the Universe that are all around you.

Hey everybody, it's Nanae. I'm reporting from outside again. It's going to rain soon. I see that there's thunder far away, but right now I am just in the spotlight of sun and it's not too hot and I'm sitting on this big boulder overlooking this gorgeous, gorgeous scenery. It feels so good. Intuition I want to answer these questions for you in a way that's really easily accessible, that's understandable. That's my challenge and that's my joy to be able to explain things that make sense. Isn't using fancy spiritual lingo. I just want it to make sense because I also want you to know that you are free. You are taking in and translating information all the time. You are letting off energy and you are taking in other people's and other things energy all the time. You just have to train and hone that skill so that you know what it's saying. So you know how... So if you have pets or if you've heard of pets doing this before, you get what I mean. Maybe you've seen a cat or a dog staring off into a corner and you're like, I'm a little creeped out. Are they looking at a ghost? Like, what are they staring at? You've probably had those moments, right? Or you've heard of other people's pets doing that. Or maybe You have kids or you've heard of kids talking to their special friends, their imaginary friends, talking to spirits, talking to ghosts. Kids are so connected to the realms, the energy that we as adults have learned how to disconnect from, how to ignore. Animals are the same. They are deeply connected. They are picking up on things that... We feel like maybe it's impossible for us to pick up on. But just know that if your animal is picking up and showing you that they're picking up on something, it means that they know that you're ready for something, for more intuitive training. I know, don't let this freak you out. But if your animal or your kids, young kids, are showing you this behavior, then it just means... That your soul is ready. Your soul knows you are ready. You're ready to learn more. That's why you're here as well. Okay, so let's talk about our bodies. Our bodies emit energy. If you break it down way, way, way, way down, each of our cells emit energy. I took my dad to get an EKG. I forget what it stands for, but it measures the electrical currents in your heart. And Each of our organs emits electrical current. Our entire body does. It's not just our heart. Our heart is a massive conductor of energy, but so is the rest of our organs. So is the entirety of our body. What I'm doing as a trained intuitive is simply training myself. I've trained myself how to pick up on this current and that emits from people and I learn how to translate it into human language so that you understand what is your body saying to you. What is this energy saying about you? What are each of your organs letting us know about the health of your organs, about what emotional roots are causing an imbalance and physical ailments in your body. I'm reading what your energy from your body is emitting out and also dictating what happens in your environment around you, the things that you see. So what I'm getting to is that you are so freaking powerful, not just on like a energetic cellular level, Can you start to see how you can shape everything with your energy? And I'm not just saying, oh, if you're high vibe and you ignore all the negative, then that means that only good will come to you. I would say that's a false narrative that you can hear in spiritual communities. What I'm more saying is that once you understand how your energy your thoughts, your emotions are emitting energy, what kind of energy it's emitting, and then what all those things are creating in your environment, including money, relationship dynamics, including what opportunities come to you, including what happens to you, like accidents, illnesses, things like that. That's when the real power comes from, I would say, because all of a sudden you realize, oh, I've been operating from a everything happens to me and I'm powerless and out of control. And we're switching it to I actually have power and I actually have control over what happens around me, what happens to me. The other day I was driving down the freeway and I was pretty freaked out because I had actually just gotten into a collision the day before. So somebody had rear-ended me. And that's for another day. I'm still working through the layers of that. And I think it's going to be a very interesting story for another day. So the next day, I was driving at night, which I already don't like to do. And I was driving down the freeway. And I noticed two really scary near accidents. There was a semi driving down the express lane and a car pops out in front of the semi into the express lane and the semi honks his horn and smashes his brakes. And I thought I was going to witness a really scary accident, but I didn't. And later, later I was like, okay, why did I witness that? There's a reason why I saw this because the energy that's emitting out of me There is a thought, there is a belief that is emitting energy out of me and dictating what I see around me. And I thought, ah, I thought the car, the driver of the car was being, was taking a risk, a risk that put him in danger. And I realized that I was thinking taking a risk means bad taking a risk means life-threatening taking a risk means dangerous in a bad way using intuition I traced it back to how I felt like taking risks financially was putting me in danger that's a story of my whole fucking life sorry excuse my French but I'm sure a lot of you can relate and Because money just, ooh, just activates that fight or flight, right? I took that information and I started to, I started to look at all the ways that's not true. It's really normal. It's very human for us to be risk averse because we want to stay alive, right? Our fight or flight is trying to keep us alive. So it's like, no, no, we're going to activate. So you don't do that thing so we can keep you alive and safe. But what that means is that we associate taking a risk, doing something new as dangerous and life threatening. So I had this in my mind that taking a chance on me, taking a risk is actually really dangerous and scary and might kill me. So what I did was I started to see how that's actually not true. Looking at all the things that I've done in the past to take a risk on me financially, but in all the areas of my life and how that actually paid out, even though, even if it was painful in the moment, even if it caused some things to go haywire. In the end, do I look back and am I glad that I actually took those risks on me? Yeah. Yeah, I am. because it made me feel really uncomfortable and it made me grow. So then I started looking back at, I started thinking again about the semi and the car. And I was like, whoa, what if the other story is that the driver of the car actually knew the semi was coming and he's a race car driver, okay? He's like a professional driver, right? But maybe he's driving a Honda right now, but he's a professional driver. So he knows what he's doing. And he saw the semi coming and he calculated the exact moment when he needed to pop out of the lane and into the express lane right in front of the semi and accelerate. He knew that exact moment. He had to do that to have a near miss and still survive. And he knew that the angle and the moment that he came out of the lane into the express lane, he knew that it wouldn't cause the semi to, to go haywire. Okay. I'm just creating this other story. All right. Come with, go with me. And so all of a sudden I realized, oh my gosh, what if for him, the driver of the car, it was a, it was a positive risk. It was a thrill. It was one he knew he would survive. And that's why he took it. And I realized, wow, I think I see a lot of things from one type of lens, which is if I take the risk on me, if I do something new, unusual, something that really pushes me, it causes discomfort. And that means, no, I shouldn't do it because it's not going to make me feel safe. So Now that I know that I've been seeing spending money as a risk that puts me in danger, that threatens my life, now I can start rewriting that story. I don't want the story to say every time I spend money, it risks my life and it causes my fight or flight to ramp up. What I want it to be written as is when I spend money, I'm taking a chance on myself. When I spend money, it actually expands opportunities for me. More money actually comes in. I'm going to calculate what I'm going to spend money on. I'm not going to just willy-nilly spend money. I am using my intuition to figure out what to spend money on. what to put my money towards. But I've rewritten the story from spending money is risk and my fight or flight needs to activate because I might die when I spend this money. I've rewritten it to when I spend this money, I'm taking a chance on me because it's leading to greater opportunity. It's leading to expansion of more money, more opportunity. And I wouldn't have all those things if I didn't take the chance on me. So I'm not saying to go out and buy the Porsche or put all your money into that really risky stock. I'm not saying that. I am saying that if you're someone like me that has it written in their body for a long time that spending money is dangerous and it's a risk to be avoided, then this might help you to start to have a different energy around money and to start taking a chance on you in all the ways. Oh, here's another thing is you don't have to know the exact translation of what the universe is trying to tell you. You don't have to know exactly what is your energy emitting and what is it causing around you? What does it mean? Okay, you don't have to start there. You're going to start with what am I seeing around me and what's the story that I can tell myself about it? Just start there. Make it simple for yourself. You see something happening, make a judgment about it. And then make a story. Okay, what is this telling me about me? And then if it is something like a limiting belief, risks are bad. I should never take risks because they're really scary and they're not going to lead to good. Then you're going to tell yourself, actually, look at all the ways that I have taken risks in my life and it's paid off in the long term. Maybe not right in the moment did I see the payoff. But in the long term, looking back, am I glad that I took that risk? Hell yeah, right? So start to identify things happening around you, even things that you see in media, TV, movies, and make a quick story about it and see how that applies to your life. And then start doing the opposite, okay? You're going to be like, actually, what if sometimes risks are great? And then create a story around that. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Okay, everybody, that's it for me. It's probably going to rain on me soon. So I'm going to get out of here. And all right, I'll talk to you in the next one. Bye.
